The Healthy Nibbles Café is a community enterprise that is situated in the heart of Bryncynon. The Healthy Nibbles Café was originally known as Nibbles Café and was at our main ofices up untill early 2006 when it was moved to our newly referbished Healthy Living Centre (Feel Good Factory). The Healthy Living Centre aims to provide a venue for healthy living activities such as Yoga, aerobics, dance and cookery courses, so moving Nibbles Café to this venue was key to promoting an all round healthier community.

Nibbles Café was originally set up to train and give experience to local people in the catering industry. The Healthy Nibbles Café will be run along the same lines but will now concentrate on producing more ‘Healthy options’ by using different methods of cooking, fresh and wholesome ingredients, and where possible use produce grown at The Strategy’s allotment or purchased through The Strategy’s Fresh and Fruity Food Coop. There are also long term plans to use fresh produce grown from the Green Valley Site.

Homemade Food

At our Café we don't just serve food to the public, we make sure that our food is fresh and traditionally made so it tastes authentic and is healthy. We provide our customers with food that is sourced locally and a friendly service from local staff and volunteers. We use ‘healthy’ cooking methods and ingredients that are nutritious and wholesome which come from the Bryncynon Strategy’s allotment or The fresh and Fruit Food Coop. We provide food free from artificial sweeteners, transfats and MSG.
